USS BOXER PATROLLING OFF OIL TERMINALS

"USS Boxer Expeditionary Strike Force is patrolling waters off S. Iraq’s Basra and Khawr Al Amaya oil terminals... The terminals, key elements of Iraq’s lifeline oil exports, are under terrorist threat. Boxer has been deployed since Nov. 21 in support of the US 5th Fleet, whose area of responsibility includes the Persian Gulf, the Red Sea, Gulf of Oman and parts of the Indian Ocean, critical chokepoint straits and 27 countries."
